Does anyone know what current rock band did a remake of "Turn the Page"? I heard it on a radio station that plays classic & new rock. The remake wasn't bad, but not Seger & no Sax.

This station plays "Landing in London" alot, I'm hooked on that song now. Three Doors Down is pretty good I had to buy that CD.

Also, and this is in the past, Waylon Jennings did a cover of it and titled that album, "Turn The Page" and "The Highwaymen" did a cover of it. They were Cash, Kristopherson, Jennings and Nelson. Both country versions.

By the way, Metalica said they didn't care for Seger, but liked the song. They wish they had written it.

If I could change one thing about anything that has to do with Seger, it would be that they never touched the song. Puts a scowl on my face and a pain in my stomach. Words can't describe how much I hate it and them, but to each their own!

But I've never heard Waylon's version, anybody have a link?

ummmmmmm....... :o , some how I think they lost Seger's meaning of the song. Oh my gosh, that was not only bad but very sad. :(

I agree with you guys, I'm almost sorry I asked...

I guess its a good example of how people interpret song lyrics differently!!

Thanks, Eric, for the downloading tip. I have been missing some great videos, and some awful ones :shifty:
